The Renewal Specialist is responsible for managing the internal processes related to renewal and mid-term amendments of a portfolio of policies, working with Hybrid Agents to ensure profitable growth and retention in alignment with company strategy. This role requires applying commercial underwriting principles to assess risk, maintain portfolio profitability, and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities and Duties Lead the execution of the policy renewal journey, including renewal pipeline management, preparing renewal quotes and restructuring policies in accordance with Group Commercial Rules and Commercial Underwriting guidelines. Collaborate with key internal teams, including Hybrid Agents, Credit and Policy Administration, to ensure timely and efficient policy renewals. Achieve business targets related to retention, pricing, and compliance through effective renewal management. Execute mid-term amendments in accordance with internal guidelines. Collaborate with Credit and Commercial Underwriting teams on high-risk policy management, ensuring seamless execution of recommendations. Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field. 3-5 years of experience in account management or underwriting. Time management and strong ability to manage a high volume of policies. Total compensation range: $75,000 - $110,000 Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary ranges are only one component of our total compensation package.
