JOB ROLES:

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, both internal and external to the district. Ability to use a computer, including software, database used by the district, spreadsheet, and word processing software, calculator, copy machine, and telephone. Demonstrated ability to develop, direct, and coordinate multiple programs and activities, including promotion. Strong desire and natural ability to deal with people Knowledge of and involvement in the SST community, its disciplines and relationships, and willingness to develop an in-depth understanding May require a proven background in writing, editing, and design for certain specialties KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborates with the Director to establish long-range goals and oversee the total alumni relations program strategy. Fosters alumni relations through consistent written communication and personal outreach to all constituent groups. Serves as primary staff support for the SST Alumni Association and various assigned alumni committees. Designs and distributes all promotional materials and publicity for alumni services and upcoming functions. Manages full-cycle logistics and scheduling for programs, reunions, homecoming, and travel services. Executes high-level clerical duties, including record keeping, correspondence, and executive calendar management. Support SST Trust Fund administration by recording contributions, monitoring investments, and ensuring audit compliance. Evaluates program effectiveness and identifies strategic improvements or changes to alumni services. Acts as the central resource for alumni and external stakeholders regarding SST programs and institutional activities. Assists the Director in development by preparing funding requests and drafting formal grant proposals. Administers alumni recognition and awards programs to honor distinguished graduates and supporters. Identifies and establishes new regional alumni chapters and centers to expand the organization's reach. Maintains institutional archives and official documentation to ensure continuity of alumni records and history. Perform any other duties as assigned. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Light Work: may require occasional light lifting. Nights and weekend activities will be occasionally required. Position is in an office setting and may involve prolonged desk work in one location. Moderate travel is required.
