Deal Origination Associates support
investment teams by identifying, evaluating, and sourcing potential investment opportunities . The role blends
market research, financial analysis, and relationship management
to help grow the firm’s deal pipeline. This position often involves close collaboration with
investment professionals, portfolio managers, legal teams, and external partners
to ensure timely and accurate evaluation of potential deals. Key Responsibilities
Identify and source investment opportunities
through market research, networking, and industry relationships Conduct preliminary due diligence , including financial analysis, market assessments, and competitive landscape research Support investment team in evaluating strategic fit and potential returns
of prospective deals Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports
for senior management and investment committees Track deal flow , monitor pipeline activity, and maintain internal deal databases Build and maintain relationships
with entrepreneurs, intermediaries, and industry contacts Assist in coordinating deal execution processes , including term sheets, legal documentation, and internal approvals Monitor industry trends and emerging markets
to identify new investment opportunities Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in
Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field Strong interest in
private equity, venture capital, or alternative investments Understanding of
investment evaluation, financial modeling, and market research Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Proficiency in
Excel ; familiarity with
PowerPoint, financial databases, or CRM tools
is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships and presenting findings Ability to work effectively in a
