The Supplier Performance Manager (SPM) is responsible for a portfolio of North American suppliers (on average 10). The SPM manages the execution of the contract between the suppliers and Safran Aircraft Engines and ensures timely delivery of products that meet quality requirements and target price. Responsibilities

1.1 Measuring and communicating performance Measure supplier performance and communicate it to suppliers and the internal team Broadcast regular performance Score Cards Ensure management, especially at the supplier level, is aware of performance issues Link supplier performance to contractual obligations and calculate penalties or claims when applicable Implement relevant logistics and quality KPIs with suppliers to anticipate performance problems 1.2 Recovering non-performance Lead and coordinate actions to recover supplier performance to expected levels Visit suppliers frequently to support performance recovery efforts Characterize the consequences of supplier performance for downstream supply chain Define, with the supplier and Safran team, an action plan to contain and recover non-performance Use contracts to incentivize timely recovery; coordinate with commercial teams on claims when relevant 1.3 Assessing and preventing risks of non-performance Identify and mitigate risks of supplier non-performance; perform regular visits to supplier manufacturing locations Lead regular risk analyses with the supplier, including load vs. capacity and new product industrialization risks Develop a Business Continuity Plan with the supplier to mitigate major events Manage plans to reduce supplier risks of non-performance Define a visit and audit plan tailored to each supplier 1.4 Coordinating the Safran team Coordinate Safran internal teams working with suppliers (planner, quality engineer, purchaser, industrialization leaders, etc.) Establish appropriate coordination at operation and management levels, including regular meeting rituals Qualifications
