Role Description

We’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who’s ready to take initiative, drive conversations, and connect with the next generation of Bitcoin miners and investors. You’ll be the front line of Simple Mining’s growth, reaching out to individuals and institutions who want to enter or expand in the Bitcoin mining space.
This will be a hybrid in office role in Boston, you will be required to work in office 2-3 times a week. Key Responsibilities Conduct 80–120 outreach activities daily through calls, emails, LinkedIn, events, and creative channels. Engage with prospective clients — including investors, institutions, funds, and entrepreneurs — to qualify interest in Bitcoin mining. Educate prospects on hosting, energy, and repair services. Schedule meetings between qualified prospects and Account Executives or leadership. Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and target prospect lists. Represent the company at virtual and in-person Bitcoin and blockchain events. Track outreach, progress, and pipeline activity in the CRM (HubSpot or similar). Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, outbound prospecting, or equivalent high-performance experience. Strong interest in Bitcoin, digital assets, and decentralized finance (DeFi) — understanding or willingness to learn the fundamentals of mining and energy infrastructure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable speaking with investors, fund managers, and business owners. Goal-oriented mindset with a strong focus on hitting daily and monthly activity targets. Highly coachable and receptive to feedback. Organized, accountable, and able to manage multiple prospects and pipelines simultaneously. Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote/hybrid environment. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Previous experience in sales, investing, or cryptocurrency. Knowledge of Bitcoin mining, ASIC hardware, or energy markets. Familiarity with CRM and outreach tools (HubSpot, Salesloft, Salesforce, etc.). Active participation in the Bitcoin or crypto community (e.g., Twitter, Telegram, Nostr). Base salary + uncapped commission. Health, dental, and vision benefits. Company-paid travel for select Bitcoin and mining conferences. Contract position with potential to convert to full-time. Total Target Earnings (OTE): $82,500 (Base $52,500 + uncapped commission).
