
Overview
Shutts & Bowen, a full-service law firm serving clients locally, nationally, and internationally, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator in the Miami office. This role requires the Marketing Coordinator to be proactive and self-motivated and to be a team member who implements the day-to-day operations of the Marketing department. Responsibilities
Assist in executing strategy and regularly communicate with external audiences through various channels, including print, web, and social media. Draft attorney biographies and move through proper channels for approval. Update the firm’s website content, including updating attorney biographies, accomplishments, and news. Draft news items for the firm website, intranet, and internal communications, including weekly and monthly newsletters. Develop ads and related information for placement in event program books (such as charity dinners). Update and maintain the firm’s social media presence daily. Assist lawyers in drafting and maintaining blogs for different practice areas. Assist with coordination of firm events, including the Firm Retreat, Office Picnics, Holiday Parties, Annual Partners Meeting, and other events across the firm. Manage and develop internal databases for tracking client and potential client contacts. Develop social media strategies with the Marketing team. Respond to attorney marketing requests efficiently and professionally. Manage and develop internal databases for sponsorship and civic memberships. Manage internal databases for surveys, awards and nominations. Provide support to attorneys by attending conferences as needed. Additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications (Education and Experience)
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a similar field. 2-4 years of Marketing experience in a law or professional services firm. Familiarity with marketing professional services to the public and law firms consistent with the Florida Bar Professional Rules of Responsibilities. Familiarity with and fluency in various marketing media, including website design and SEO. Experience with social media marketing through Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, blogs, online video, and related media. Computer skills, including knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Preferred experience with Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite (or comparable graphic expertise). Bilingual (Spanish) a plus. Key Skills and Competencies
