
The Instructional Designer will support the Wealth Talent and Learning team by assessing, planning, designing, and developing engaging and innovative learning solutions.
This role involves applying strong instructional design principles, leveraging modern learning technologies, and contributing to broader talent and learning strategies.
The position requires creativity, collaboration, and the ability to translate complex information into effective learner-centric experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop learning experiences using modern graphic design, video, and authoring tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and dominKnow. Capture and edit video content to support learning objectives. Utilize platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform or Tableau to support learning processes. Create learning strategies, deployment plans, and evaluation methods aligned with instructional design best practices. Identify and leverage a variety of learning formats and tools to maximize engagement and impact. Use Learning Experience Platforms (LXP) to deliver skill-based and role-based training. Develop and manage learning evaluation strategies to measure effectiveness. Communicate effectively and manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills. Build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders in both in-person and virtual environments. Act independently as a self-starter under general direction. Design and deploy learning experiences through live delivery, LXPs, SharePoint, and other digital platforms. Lead the creation of solutions for critical skills and targeted roles using adult learning principles and innovative learning modalities. Translate subject matter expert content into practical, accessible learning solutions. Incorporate user-centered design principles to create learner-centric content with defined measurement and sustainment plans. Stay current with industry learning trends, tools, and platforms, integrating new insights into program design. Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to develop learning solutions aligned with business priorities. Required Qualifications
5–7 years of experience in learning solution design and development within a corporate environment. Proficiency with graphic design, video, and authoring tools (Adobe Creative Suite, dominKnow). Experience with video capture and editing. Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform or Tableau. Strong experience in instructional design, including strategy development, deployment planning, and evaluation. Experience using Learning Experience Platforms for skill and role-based learning delivery. Strong communication and project management skills. Ability to build and maintain constructive, collaborative relationships. Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
