Job Description The

Corporate Transactions Communications Manager

is an individual contributor, responsible for coordinating communications activities related to the Catalyst program, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, restructurings, and major company change management initiatives.

This is an opportunity to join HPE’s world-class Global Marketing and Communications team and play a central role supporting the company’s most complex and strategically important financial communications initiatives.

How you’ll make your mark We are seeking an experienced Corporate Transactions Communications Manager with strong collaborative instincts and influencing ability to join our corporate communications organization. This individual contributor will be responsible for leading day-to-day communications activities for corporate actions, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, restructurings, and major company change management initiatives.

This role reports to the Financial Communications Manager and will have significant responsibility for bringing together key internal stakeholders across the company, working in close partnership with organizations within Global Marketing & Communications; Finance & Strategy; and Operations, Legal & Administrative Affairs.

In this role, you will In this role, you will serve as an individual contributor and trusted execution partner supporting some of HPE’s highest-profile financial communications moments. You will be the day-to-day Global Marketing and Communications liaison for corporate action programs, transactions and special situations, and complex change management activities.

You will play a critical role in enabling transaction success, executive readiness, and stakeholder confidence. We’ll expect you to lead with collaboration – bringing together the right people and ideas – and to be able to translate complex financial and strategic topics into clear and compelling narratives. You are also key to ensuring our communications across stakeholders is disciplined, accurate, and aligned.

As a member of the Global Marketing & Communications team, you’ll work in a close-knit group of talented colleagues supporting strategic communications and the implementation of 360-degree communications plans. Responsibilities Financial Communications Execution & Advisory Support:

Serve as the day-to-day communications execution lead for corporate actions, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, restructurings, and other strategic transactions

Lead the execution of cross-audience strategies developed for communicating corporate and financial activity that articulate strategic rationale, growth, and innovation benefits

Stand up ad hoc teams of Global Marketing & Communications colleagues and lead creation of clear and compelling communications campaigns for internal and external audiences

Draft and coordinate program- and transaction-related communications materials, including announcements, internal leadership messages, executive scripts, town hall materials, FAQs, Q&A documents, and integration messaging

Maintain messaging frameworks and Q&A documents throughout the lifecycle of corporate actions and transactions

Partner closely with Finance, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, Investor Relations, Legal Corporate Securities M&A, and Legal Corporate Transactions to understand a transaction’s objectives, timelines, and key stakeholders

Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all transaction communications meet regulatory, disclosure, and confidentiality requirements

Reputation & Content Creation Initiatives

Co-develop strategies with Global Marketing & Communications colleagues to amplify high-profile transformation moments and milestones

Champion clear, consistent narratives that articulate the strategic rationale behind transformation and change initiatives, ensuring stakeholders understand the purpose, impact, and expected outcomes

Oversee the quality and consistency of financial communications content, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and aligned with HPE’s messaging

Stakeholder Engagement

Foster strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for communication initiatives

Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of communications planning activities to stakeholders

We are looking for someone who is/has

A collaborative, strategic planner with an ear for creating corporate narrative who eagerly takes execution action

Project management perseverance to take an initiative from start to finish, while managing multiple priorities and deadlines

Superior writing skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial information for diverse audiences

Adaptive, flexible mindset to pivot to meet evolving business and Global Marketing & Communications needs

Attuned to addressing the needs of all stakeholders in developing strategic communication plans and programs in a collaborative, effective way

Willingness to lead on both major and minor points of implementation

Qualifications

BA or BS in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field

10+ years of experience in financial communications, investor relations, business development, corporate communications, financial journalism, or a related field

Prior corporate work experience or large agency experience is highly preferred

Proven track record of developing and executing successful integrated communications strategies

Interest in financial markets, corporate finance, and regulatory requirements

Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Ability to routinely handle highly confidential information with integrity

Strong preference for candidate based in the greater Houston, Texas area

The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. United States of America: Annual Salary USD 119,500 - 275,000 in Texas. The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered.
