Description The Vice President of Advisor & Platform Marketing is responsible for defining and leading Concurrent’s advisor and platform marketing strategy, operating model, and service delivery. This role establishes how marketing supports advisors, business units, and firm growth, ensuring marketing is disciplined, scalable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise priorities.
The Vice President translates platform strategy into marketing operating models, service offerings, execution frameworks, and governance standards. This role provides leadership to marketing team members, oversees advisor marketing services, and partners closely with senior leaders across Investments, Planning, Operations, Retirement Services, Technology, Practice Synergies & Enterprise Consulting, Business Development, Compliance, Finance, Corporate Communications, and Corporate Marketing & Public Relations.
This role combines strategic leadership, content creation and packaging oversight, operating effectiveness, and advisor-facing marketing leadership.
Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Operating Model
Define, lead, and evolve advisor and platform marketing strategy and service model
Establish clear ownership, workflows, prioritization frameworks, and success metrics
Align advisor marketing offerings with firm strategy and platform capabilities
Ensure marketing efforts support recruiting, growth, and advisor engagement objectives
Platform Marketing Leadership
Lead execution of platform-level marketing initiatives in partnership with Corporate Marketing & Public Relations
Support advisor conferences, platform events, and strategic initiatives from a marketing leadership perspective
Coordinate timelines, materials, and deliverables across internal teams and external vendors
Lead execution of platform initiatives and advisor-driven marketing needs
Oversee thought leadership creation and packaging aligned with leadership priorities, culture, and messaging
Team Leadership & Advisor Management
Lead marketing team contributors, including MDs, VPs, and other key roles
Set performance expectations, goals, and execution plans
Allocate resources across advisor and platform marketing needs
Foster a culture of accountability, clarity, and execution
Manage advisor expectations and instill confidence in marketing services and solutions
Advisor Marketing Governance
Define standards for advisor marketing support, including tools, templates, vendors, and workflows
Ensure advisor marketing services are delivered consistently and compliantly
Oversee escalation and resolution of complex advisor marketing needs
Monitor advisor satisfaction and effectiveness of marketing programs
Advisor Marketing Execution Oversight
Oversee advisor-facing marketing programs, tools, and services
Ensure delivery of advisor marketing assets including collateral, digital assets, pitch decks, social content, campaigns, and event materials
Coordinate advisor access to approved platforms, templates, and vendors
Scope, prioritize, and manage advisor marketing requests in alignment with platform standards and capacity
Ensure all advisor marketing deliverables align with brand and compliance requirements
Marketing Operations & Vendor Management
Oversee relationships with marketing vendors and agencies
Ensure efficient use of budgets and resources
Evaluate vendor performance and recommend changes as needed
Oversee marketing intake, workflows, prioritization, and delivery timelines
Maintain visibility into active projects, workloads, and utilization
Compliance, Brand & Governance
Coordinate compliance reviews for advisor-facing and public-facing marketing materials
Ensure adherence to SEC, FINRA, and firm marketing and advertising standards
Maintain documentation of approvals and final deliverables
Escalate compliance or brand risks appropriately
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner closely with Practice Synergies & Enterprise Consulting to align marketing with advisory programs
Coordinate with Business Development on recruiting and growth initiatives
Work in close partnership with the VP of Corporate Marketing & Public Relations to ensure alignment between brand strategy and execution
Serve as a senior marketing partner to business unit leaders

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience working in or with financial services or wealth management firms
Significant experience leading marketing functions in financial services or professional services
Experience managing teams and complex marketing operations
Strong executive communication and cross-functional leadership skills
Comfort operating in a regulated environment

Experience with or ability to quickly learn tools commonly used in the wealth management industry, including:
CRM & automation: HubSpot, Salesforce
Advisor marketing platforms: FMG or similar solutions
Design & asset tools: Canva, Adobe InDesign

Location / Schedule
This position will work in our Tampa, FL office. Remote work will be considered for well qualified candidates
Working hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Friday with the option to work remote on Fridays
Occasional evening/weekend hours may be requested
Ability to travel up to 20%
