
Marketing Divisional Specialist

WHAT YOU WILL DO The Marketing Divisional Specialist partners with internal divisions to develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns that directly support business goals and company objectives. This specialist‑level role provides campaign vision, drives cohesive execution across multiple marketing channels, and owns each campaign from strategy through reporting. You’ll collaborate closely with internal creative partners, external vendors, and Caterpillar representatives to build strong, effective, brand‑aligned marketing programs.
This role comes with a high degree of ownership: you will manage campaign strategy, select marketing channels, determine campaign timing, and oversee your own budget. Success is measured through clear performance indicators, including revenue influence, lead generation, engagement metrics, and budget efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategize with divisions and department heads to develop marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives
Provide campaign vision and ensure cohesive execution across multiple marketing channels
Own campaign project management, including timelines, deliverables, and cross‑functional communication
Analyze campaign performance to guide decision‑making and identify opportunities for improvement
Create Return on Investment reports that demonstrate effectiveness and inform future planning
Use analytics tools such as Power BI, GA4, Dynamics, and Sprout Social to support targeted sales and marketing initiatives
Partner with Caterpillar representatives as needed to leverage incentives, support options, and programs
Conduct industry, competitor, and market research to support strategic recommendations
Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and respect while contributing to a positive and safe workplace consistent with company values
May have to lift up to 25-30 pounds on occasion
May work in an environment where hazards are present
Requires frequent hand use for typing, operating the phone, handling materials, and other job-related tasks
Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Analytics, or related major (minimum GPA 3.0)
Strong verbal, written, and influencing communication skills.
Two or more years of relevant marketing work experience or project management work required.
Ability to analyze, model, and interpret data.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Ability to prioritize own schedule and organize workload effectively.
Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative.
Strong work ethic and can-do attitude
Demonstrated skills and capabilities in analytical and critical thinking.
