to join their team. The Opportunity: As an
Excess Casualty Underwriter,
youll underwrite and price new and renewal business, strengthen relationships with wholesale partners, and collaborate with internal teamsincluding Loss Control, Claims, and Accountingto drive profitable growth. Youll assess financials, loss history, and exposure to determine underwriting acceptability, review submissions for accuracy, and set appropriate terms and pricing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently handling smaller accounts or in a junior underwriting rolewith retail or wholesale experienceready to take the next step in their career. Chicago, IL (Hybrid) What Were Looking For: Bachelors degree preferred Commercial Insurance Underwriting experience Excess Casualty underwriting experience preferred; Excess & Surplus experience also considered.
