Overview
Old Overton Club is seeking an Assistant Superintendent who will work closely with the Director of Maintenance and the Golf Course Superintendent. Duties will include, but not be limited to: daily scheduling, pesticide and fertilizer applications, irrigation scheduling and repair, course set-up, calibration, record keeping, special projects, safety training, and greens management.
Old Overton Club is a Tom Fazio/Jerry Pate design that opened in 1993 and was named Golf Digest Magazine's "Best New Private Course" of 1994. The course went through a renovation in 2020 that consisted of converting the greens to TifEagle Bermudagrass, bunkers re-designed and built to the Billy Bunker specification, and tees leveled and re-grassed to Tifgrand. Old Overton is the centerpiece of the 3500 acre Liberty Park which is still under development and is considered one of the premier Clubs in the southeast. The
