We are seeking a Tax Director with ideally entertainment business management experience to join our team! Why join us? Compensation includes a base salary of $160,000 - $210,000 per year, potential sign-on bonus, and annual performance-based bonuses. Job Details: Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance for trusts and estates, including federal and state income, gift, and estate tax returns. Develop and implement tax planning strategies for high net worth individuals and their estates. Provide guidance and support to clients on estate and trust tax matters. Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure that all tax strategies are aligned with the client's financial goals and objectives. Stay informed on current tax laws and regulations and communicate any changes that may impact clients to the appropriate parties. Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide solutions that minimize tax liability and increase client wealth. Review and approve trust and estate tax work papers and returns prepared by junior staff. Foster and maintain client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax planning and compliance for trusts and estates. In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations related to trusts and estates. Strong understanding of fiduciary tax and estate planning strategies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues in a clear and concise manner. Proven leadership skills, with experience managing and mentoring junior staff. Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
