The
Associate, FDM Digital Products , under the supervision of the Associate Director for eCRM, is responsible for creating digital assets, as well overseeing and executing practices to maintain data quality, in our eCRM (Luminate Online) and connected systems such as OneCause, SquadUp, Raiser’s Edge NXT and more. This includes donation form creation (low-HTML), meticulous sourcing of links, managing duplicate resolutions, managing data and gift imports, and executing data improvement projects. Additionally, the Associate will also lead and support project implementations that are both internal and external to the department. The Associate should understand best practices in digital fundraising and data management, be able to identify and adapt to shifting priorities, be flexible and resourceful, and exercise professionalism and discretion in working with confidential information. This position is preferably based in Washington, DC, but could be fully remote for the right candidate. The position offers a salary range of $60k-$65k. Exact compensation within the stated salary range may vary based on skills, experience, internal equity, and geographical location. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Asset creation in-platform: Responsible for generating pages where constituents flow into our CRM (donation forms, events, surveys) using HTML or low-code user interfaces Ability to code HTML emails on an ad-hoc basis for stakeholders Maintaining public facing profiles on third party donation platforms such as Benevity, Pledge and others. Data Hygiene and Quality Responsible for maintaining the quality of data within the platforms in their purview, mostly through appending source codes to links. Identifies gaps in constituent and gift data quality and constructs a mechanism for resolving the gap and on-going maintenance to prevent further gaps from occurring. Responsible for managing duplicate records in Luminate, including identifying potential duplicates and merging records in both Luminate and Raiser’s Edge. Ability to query new audience segments in collaboration with fundraising team and AD eCRM to meet team goals Gift Imports: Responsible for executing the gift data flow from third party digital platforms, as assigned. Data Imports and Exports: Builds and exports results in Luminate from ad-hoc queries requested by stakeholders Import constituent data from digital platforms to Luminate Online in cases where an API or webhook does not exist. Oversee Omatic data flows into Luminate Online as assigned. Project Leadership and Support: Makes recommendations to the Fundraising Data Management team lead on potential new data improvement projects that have been identified by colleague feedback, regular data review or departmental needs. Leads on select Fundraising Data Management team projects and external projects across data hygiene and process implementations; supports large scale data hygiene and cross-departmental projects as assigned. Serve as backup for other Fundraising Data Management team functions, including online gift import processes for Luminate, Universe and OneCause and Asana ticket triaging. Perform other administrative assignments as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: At least 2 – 4 years of work experience in an office environment or nonprofit setting, preferred. 2 – 4 years’ experience with Blackbaud Luminate/NXT or other eCRM database strongly preferred. Highly organized with the ability to handle differing projects and priorities while coordinating workflow in a deadline-driven and service-focused environment. Prior digital agency experience is a plus but not required. Must be proactive and a self-starter, with excellent problem-solving and implementation skills. Proven ability to collaborate effectively and to work well as a member of a team. Outstanding interpersonal and communications (including verbal and written) skills and cultural competencies, underscored by strong emotional intelligence. Integrity and discretion, and a strong work ethic. Interest in anti-hunger and anti-poverty issues.
