Wiggin and Dana LLP seeks a senior associate or counsel to join our dynamic and growing Real Estate practice in our Boston, Connecticut or New York office locations. Qualified candidates will have 5-10 years’ experience representing companies, developers, franchisees, investors, and other entities in sophisticated real estate matters, with a focus on commercial leasing, franchise and distribution, and general corporate real estate. Substantial experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases and broader experience in the acquisition, disposition, development, and financing of commercial properties is required. Experience representing franchisees, including reviewing and negotiating agreements, renewals and transfers, as well as experience in the acquisition of assets and general corporate tasks is highly preferred. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, be highly motivated, have strong communication skills, and be able to work with minimal supervision. The target base pay range for this role is $185,000-$220,000 and is dependent on experience and other relevant factors.
