EventSquad leadership team
for the upcoming event season. We are seeking calm, capable, and highly reliable
Event Managers
to lead on-site execution of live experiential events. This role is ideal for leaders who thrive in fast-paced environments, make confident decisions under pressure, and take full ownership of event-day operations. Event Managers are trusted to lead teams, support clients, and ensure every event runs smoothly from arrival through breakdown. This is a
part-time, seasonal role , with events ramping up in the spring and continuing through the holiday season. About VVS Events & Marketing

As an Event Manager, you are the
on-site leader
responsible for successful event execution. Lead and direct EventSquad staff during live events Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients and vendors Manage event timelines, logistics, and flow Make real-time decisions to solve problems and keep events on track Ensure setup, execution, and breakdown meet VVS standards Communicate clearly with internal leadership before, during, and after events You are expected to
own the event , not just supervise it. What We’re Looking For
This role requires leadership maturity and operational confidence. Proven leadership experience (events, hospitality, athletics, military, or similar environments) Calm, solutions-oriented decision-making under pressure Strong communication and team-direction skills Availability for
weekends and occasional evenings Hands-on mindset — willing to jump in when needed Comfortable standing/walking 6–8+ hours and lifting up to ~50 lbs Reliable transportation to event sites across the DMV area Formal event management experience is a plus, but
leadership and execution ability matter most . Schedule & Seasonality
Part-time, seasonal role
(Spring through Holiday Season) Hours vary by event schedule (some weeks lighter, some heavier) Events primarily across Northern VA, DC, and Maryland Based out of
Leesburg, VA , with occasional regional or travel opportunities for select events Pay & Professional Growth
