Job Title Marketing Communications Associate

Position Overview The Marketing Communications Associate will support the development and execution of marketing communications. This role is responsible for helping create, manage, and deploy marketing materials that support product awareness, education, and adoption in a regulated medical device environment. This is a highly collaborative, execution-focused role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow in medical device marketing at a startup.
Position Responsibilities
Marketing Content & Materials
Support the development, review, and deployment of HCP and patient-facing marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, digital content, and in-office resources.
Assist with copy development, editing, and formatting to ensure clarity, consistency, and brand alignment.
Coordinate updates and revisions to existing materials as needed.
Project & Asset Management
Manage timelines, approvals, and version control for marketing assets.
Coordinate cross-functional reviews with Regulatory, Clinical, Legal, and internal stakeholders.
Maintain marketing asset libraries and ensure field access to current materials.
Internal & Field Communications
Support the creation of internal communications and field tools, including sales decks, training materials, and launch communications.
Assist with preparation of materials for meetings, conferences, and field programs.
Digital & Channel Support
Assist with website content updates, email campaigns, and digital asset deployment.
Support basic analytics and reporting to track performance of marketing communications.
Startup Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Training, Clinical, and Regulatory teams to support fast-paced execution.
Contribute to process improvements as marketing operations scale.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role (healthcare or medical device experience ideal)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work in alignment with East Coast business hours.
Demonstrated strong emotional and situational intelligence
Physically capable of lifting 20lbs
Preferred Qualifications
Comfortable working with review and approval processes (Regulatory, Legal, Clinical)
Experience supporting digital marketing and/or content management systems
Interest in working in a startup environment
Compliance & Quality Expectations Ensures work complies with applicable regulatory requirements, industry standards, and Nyxoah’s internal quality system procedures. Maintains documentation and conduct in a manner consistent with inspection-ready expectations.
