Become a part of ENERCON as a Designer/Drafter. Our Designers/Drafters are an integral part of our design team. They are the visionaries who bring engineering ideas to life, crafting detailed plans that drive the successful execution of infrastructure and energy projects. This position can sit out of our Kennesaw, GA, Baton Rouge, LA or Birmingham, AL office locations. Responsibilities
Drafters & Designers play a key role in supporting engineering teams by creating detailed technical drawings and layouts used for infrastructure and energy projects. A typical day in this role involves working closely with engineers and translating design concepts and project specifications into precise, scaled drawings that help guide the construction and implementation process. This position covers a range of internal levels. Minimum qualifications for the position are shown below: Associate's Degree in drafting or related field 2+ years of drafting experience preferred Proficient experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation design software Ability to learn and effectively utilize new design software programs as required Understand and follow all organizational, area/departmental, and client procedures, safety policies, and directives Experience conducting self-checks of created drawings, sketches, and related data to proactively identify factors that may negatively affect final product Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with others (Engineers, Designers, Project Managers) in a multi-disciplined project team environment to resolve design and drawing issues as appropriate and to accomplish objectives Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience working in the Nuclear, Utilities, or Power Industry is preferred Additional Information
