Duties and Responsibilities/Results: Assist with payment management with residential, home equity, tuition, installment and commercial loans such as but not limited to payoff, payments, payoff quotes, returns, automatic payments log, loan inquires and correspondence, escrow, insurance and taxes, and charge-offs. Retrieve loan files and documents from the document vault as needed and prepare files for review or forwarding. Extract required loan documents and prepare packages for attorneys or vendors with appropriate cover sheets Maintain copies of all documents in accordance with Bank record retention policies and preparation and shipment of satisfied loan files. Ensure loan files and servicing records are secure, accurate, and properly maintained Act as a liaison between Ridgewood Savings Bank and Cenlar which includes but not limited to: Record and forward mortgage and home equity loan payments, monitor Cenlar Case Management Contact delinquent installment loan borrowers by phone, email, or mail to obtain payment status and expected payment dates Assist with quality control reviews of Commercial/Multifamily post-closing documents for accuracy and completeness. Also assist with onboarding Commercial/Multifamily loans onto the DNA system. Perform routine file and system maintenance on Commercial/Multifamily loan products Assist with addressing credit bureau disputes by gathering documentation and performing preliminary research Assist with audits, reporting requests, and quality control reviews. Follow established Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Assist with departmental projects and additional duties as assigned Job Specifications: A college degree and at least 2 years of banking experience, preferably in loan servicing. Good oral and written communication skills. Basic math skills. Demonstrate ability in working with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook. Exposure to commercial or multifamily loan servicing preferred but not required.
