Head of Americas Our client is a global payments infrastructure provider enabling real-time, cross-border money movement for banks, fintechs, and large enterprises. Our platform supports enterprise-scale payments across multiple geographies, currencies, and payout methods, with deep regulatory coverage and a strong international footprint.

The company is profitable, well-capitalized, and operating at significant scale, processing tens of billions of dollars in annual payment volumes. We are entering a critical growth phase in the Americas and are seeking a senior leader to own regional strategy, revenue, and execution.

The Role The Head of Americas will be responsible for full P&L ownership of the Americas region, including revenue growth, client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and operational execution. This role will lead regional sales, account management, and go-to-market efforts, while acting as the senior executive representative for the region.

You will work closely with global leadership, product, compliance, operations, and technology teams to scale the business, deepen enterprise relationships, and expand market presence across North America and Latin America.

This is a highly visible leadership role with direct impact on global performance.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Leadership & Strategy: Own and execute the Americas regional strategy, aligned with global company objectives.

Drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and market share across the region.

Serve as the senior executive sponsor for key enterprise clients and strategic partners.

Represent the company externally with customers, partners, regulators, and industry stakeholders.

Revenue & Go-To-Market: Lead all new business development and expansion initiatives across the Americas.

Oversee enterprise sales, pipeline development, deal structuring, and contract negotiations.

Establish clear revenue targets, forecasts, and performance metrics for the region.

Identify and prioritize high-growth verticals such as financial services, fintech, travel, and platforms.

Client & Partner Management: Build and maintain senior-level relationships with banks, fintechs, and large enterprise clients.

Drive long-term client value through consultative engagement and solution-based selling.

Develop and manage strategic partnerships that accelerate distribution and revenue growth.

Team Leadership & Execution: Build, lead, and scale high-performing regional teams across sales, account management, and partnerships.

Foster a performance-driven, accountable culture with clear goals and execution rigor.

Collaborate cross-functionally with product, compliance, risk, operations, and engineering teams.

Operational & Commercial Excellence: Ensure disciplined pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and deal governance.

Partner with compliance and risk teams to support regulated growth across jurisdictions.

Provide regular performance updates and strategic insights to executive leadership.

Experience & Qualifications

15+ years of senior leadership experience in payments, fintech, financial services, or adjacent infrastructure businesses.

Proven track record owning and scaling revenue or P&L at a regional or global level.

Deep experience selling complex payment or financial infrastructure solutions to enterprises and financial institutions.

Strong understanding of the Americas payments landscape, including regulatory and market dynamics.

Demonstrated ability to build and lead senior, multi-disciplinary teams.

Highly commercial, strategic, and data-driven decision-maker.

Executive presence with the ability to influence internally and externally at C-suite level.

Comfortable operating in fast-growth, ambiguous, and highly regulated environments.
