We’re looking for a Founding Account Executive to help build Tower’s sales engine from the ground up. This is not a “run inbound and close” role. You’ll be in the trenches: shaping our ICP, writing the first sales playbooks, figuring out what messaging actually lands, and working directly with founders and technical leaders to close our earliest and most important customers. If you’ve wanted to actually influence how sales is done - this is that role. What You’ll Do

Own the entire sales cycle end-to-end: prospecting > discovery > close > early expansion Target Vertical AI and SaaS companies at the founder, CTO, and senior engineering level Develop and iterate Tower’s initial outbound motion (accounts, messaging, sequencing) Run deep technical discovery to understand customer architectures, workloads, and constraints Lead consultative, value-driven sales conversations for a complex, technical product Partner tightly with founders and engineering to win early lighthouse customers Close early deals that define Tower’s pricing, positioning, and deal structure Capture and synthesize customer feedback to influence roadmap and GTM strategy Build the foundation for future AEs: processes, templates, and best practices Who You Are

Deep experience selling developer tools, infra, cloud, or AI platforms You’ve closed deals where the buyer was deeply technical and the product wasn’t obvious or commoditized Comfortable prospecting from scratch - you don’t wait for “perfect” leads Strong discovery skills and a bias toward understanding how things work You can translate technical depth into clear business value for founders and execs Motivated by building something durable, not just hitting quota Early sales experience at a startup (first AE, first few AEs, or similar) Experience selling to AI-native, Vertical AI or SaaS companies Familiarity with modern infrastructure stacks (cloud, data, AI/ML platforms) Experience influencing pricing, packaging, or sales strategy Why This Role Is Different
