*Apply online today and your resume will be considered within 48 hours of application* Description The Super is responsible for: Onsite daily - first job in Newington CT Reporting directly to the Lead Super Supporting day‑to‑day field operations and ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. Conducting daily site walks, enforcing safety protocols, coordinating inspections, and managing site security. Leading subcontractor coordination, including pre‑mobilization meetings, daily oversight, productivity tracking, and weekly progress meetings. Maintaining accurate daily reports, reviewing shop drawings, generating RFIs, tracking T&M work, and documenting progress with photos. Managing punch lists, mockups, third‑party inspections, deficiency logs, and overall QA/QC compliance. Preparing and updating short‑term schedules, communicating delays, and assisting with schedule recovery planning. Coordinating material deliveries, storage logistics, and enforcing site housekeeping standards. Building strong working relationships with owners, subcontractors, inspectors, and field staff. Planning ahead for labor, equipment, and material needs while supporting procurement tracking and reporting field‑driven cost impacts. Providing leadership by giving clear direction, coaching field teams, delegating tasks, and mentoring junior staff. Profile The right Super has the following qualifications: 3-5+ years of Superintendent experience with a General Contractor Multifamily project background ideally $30M+ Strong safety knowledge, including OSHA compliance, daily inspections, and enforcing site safety protocols Proficiency in reading plans, specifications, and construction documents, with solid understanding of building codes Scheduling experience, including look‑ahead planning and coordination of subcontractor workflows Strong leadership and communication skills Experience with construction management software Ability to manage budgets, track labor/equipment, and support cost‑related decisions in the field Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or superintendent‑focused certifications Job Offer The Lead Super will receive: Base salary up to $130K + bonus Gas card Vehicle allowance or truck Company phone Health benefits 401(k) Match Contributions and Profit Sharing Employee Referral Program Annual Bonus Paid Time Off Best in class Training and Development MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
