Senior Preconstruction Leader
with a solid background as a
General Contractor (GC) . The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in
ground-up commercial construction , particularly with
public works projects
like fire stations and police stations. You will take charge of estimating, budgeting, and overseeing the preconstruction process to ensure the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities: Develop precise cost estimates for ground-up commercial projects. Partner with project teams to create effective preconstruction schedules and budgets. Analyze and interpret project plans, specifications, and contracts. Oversee subcontractor solicitation, bid evaluations, and cost assessments. Offer value engineering insights and cost-reduction strategies. Facilitate preconstruction meetings and maintain thorough communication with stakeholders. Requirements: GC Experience Required
- No owner's representatives, subcontractors, or former business owners. 7-10 years of experience in commercial construction estimating and preconstruction management. Robust expertise in ground-up projects; diverse commercial background is essential. Highly preferred experience with public works (fire stations, police stations, etc.). Outstanding analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering (or equivalent experience). Experience managing large-scale, complex commercial projects. Compensation: Salary range:
