Overview

SENAI is seeking an experienced VP of Sales to lead and scale our sales organization, driving revenue growth and long-term strategic objectives, with a strong focus on State and Federal Government customers. The ideal candidate is a senior sales leader with a proven track record of building high-performing sales teams, owning go-to-market strategy, and closing complex, high-value deals in government and public sector environments. Responsibilities

Define and execute the overall sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and support the company’s long-term growth objectives, with a focus on State and Federal Government customers. Build, lead, and scale a high-performing sales organization, including hiring, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning. Own the end-to-end sales function, including pipeline strategy, forecasting, pricing, and deal governance. Lead complex enterprise and government sales cycles, including strategic negotiations, RFPs/RFIs, and long-term contracts. Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with key State and Federal Government agencies, partners, and stakeholders. Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Executive leadership to align go-to-market strategy, messaging, and roadmap with market and customer needs. Drive data-informed decision-making through accurate forecasting, KPI tracking, and performance analysis. Continuously assess market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales management within a similar industry. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
