The opportunity
As part of EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution sub-service line, our Software Strategy Group (SSG) team conducts in-depth research and analysis to provide strategic insights to our clients. You will work with talented professionals who have extensive industry experience at various leadership levels in the software ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge while collaborating with top experts in the field.
Your key responsibilities
Lead work streams that translate client needs into effective project tasks and deliverables.
Oversee day-to-day problem-solving and guide team analytical activities, acting as a primary liaison to clients and senior management.
Develop business strategies through market sizing, participant interviews, and management discussions.
Analyze transaction documents to identify essential business issues and risks related to proposed transactions.
Mentor and manage junior team members, fostering their professional development.
To qualify for the role, you must have
A bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant work experience or a graduate degree and approximately 18 months of related experience.
Minimum of 18 months experience in technology and software companies, in a leadership position as a consultant or employee.
Proven experience managing business strategy and commercial diligence projects in complex environments.
Ability to assess industries, products, markets, competitors, and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
Excellent proficiency in English, with strong communication skills in both written and verbal contexts.
Exceptional organization and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when necessary.
Other Requirements
Team members are expected to be in the office approximately 3 days a week.
Ideally, you'll also have
An MBA or equivalent graduate degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience, focusing on client advisory or strategic planning.
Strong problem solving, project management, and interpersonal skills.
Adequate multitasking abilities and a knack for thriving in fast-paced environments.
Familiarity with leveraging AI tools in business contexts.

Base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $185,000, determined by various factors.
