Vinyl Liner Installer
to handle the removal and installation of custom-fit vinyl liners for renovation projects. As Charleston’s leading pool renovation company, we ensure every pool transformation is completed with expert craftsmanship and provide homeowners with a flawless liner replacement experience. Position: Vinyl Liner Installer Location: Charleston, SC Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities
Measure pools accurately for custom-fit vinyl liners.
Remove old liners and prepare the pool surface for installation.
Install and secure new liners, ensuring proper alignment and a wrinkle-free fit.
Replace and update white goods faceplates, including skimmers, drains, and return fittings.
Drain pools, clean debris, and prepare surfaces per standard procedures.
Patch and repair damaged pool floors using vermiculite.
Ensure all drain covers comply with current VGB safety regulations.
Document the entire installation process with photos at each phase.
Communicate with homeowners about the installation process and expectations.
Report any unexpected issues to the Renovation Coordinator.
Assist other departments when needed to support overall company operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience: Prior experience in vinyl liner installation, pool renovations, or a related field preferred.
Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise measurements.
Physical: Comfortable with heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods; able to manage groundwater issues and ensure proper liner fit.
Other: Must pass a background check and drug screening; valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
