We are seeking a motivated Squad Leader with a key role in delivering strategic data initiatives. This position combines agile leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and hands‑on facilitation to ensure high‑performing data teams, predictable delivery, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support strategic data projects, ensuring alignment between business objectives, technical solutions, and delivery outcomes.
Facilitate and coordinate all agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, portfolio alignment, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the squad and stakeholders, particularly business units, acting as a bridge between technical and non‑technical teams.
Coach and support the team in the adoption and day‑to‑day application of agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Collaborate with product and business stakeholders in the definition and refinement of data solutions, supporting solution design discussions with both technical and business teams.
Support product definition by enabling backlog refinement, ensuring user stories are clear, well‑defined, estimated, prioritized, and ready for delivery.
Ensure the effective use and proper functioning of agile delivery and tracking tools (e.g., Jira), maintaining transparency and flow across the delivery process.
Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and impediments, supporting their resolution through collaboration or appropriate escalation.
Track and analyze team performance metrics and delivery indicators, driving improvements in predictability, quality, and flow using a continuous improvement mindset (PDCA).
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Squad Leader within agile teams, preferably in data, analytics, or technology‑focused environments.
Strong background in software delivery and stakeholder coordination; experience with operational support (incident management, production stability) is highly desirable.
Academic background in Technology, Data, Engineering, or Project Management.
Fluency in English.
Solid understanding of Scrum, with exposure to other agile frameworks and complementary practices (e.g., Kanban, Lean, XP).
Experience using Jira or similar agile project management tools for backlog management, delivery tracking, and reporting.
