has an immediate opening for the position of an Electronic Service Representative. We are a family owned company that has been in business since 1936 and continues to experience strong growth year after year. Abt Electronics specializes in electronics, appliance & furniture sales, delivery, installation and servicing all the products we sell. We are a perennial winner of the Chicago Tribune’s Top Workplace Award. We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible & friendly Electronic Service Representative to join our team. Responsibilities
Assist customers over the phone with their electronic service needs
Basic troubleshooting & tech support for consumer electronics
Process returns & exchanges
Create service tickets to document customers’ needs & dispatch service techs to customers’ homes
Assist customers with purchasing accessories, replacement parts & carry in repairs
Job Requirements
Basic operational knowledge of consumer electronics
Strong computer skills
Ability to take initiative & make decisions
Approachable & outgoing personality
Scheduling includes night & weekend hours
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 75lbs
Bi-lingual a plus
