The Opportunity
As a Senior Global Trade Consultant, you will utilize your expertise to deliver value to clients while managing risks tied to global trade. You'll become an integral part of a team devoted to assisting clients in operating more effectively across international markets.
Your Key Responsibilities
Conduct research on customs and international trade matters to provide insightful advisory services.
Guide clients on customs compliance challenges and strategies that could lead to duty savings.
Execute customs compliance tasks and review the contributions of team members.
Create and present high-quality planning ideas and responsive services tailored to client requirements.
Keep abreast of global trade trends and innovate service offerings to enhance client value.
Effectively manage projects by leveraging strong organizational skills, motivation, and a proactive mindset.
To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
A bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, international relations, or a related discipline.
Approximately 3 or more years of relevant experience in industry, professional services, or major import/export firms.
Experience in a client service environment.
Outstanding organizational skills and a positive outlook.
Proficiency in a technology-driven workplace.
Willingness to travel as required, working within a balanced hybrid setting.
Ideally, You'll Also Have
A JD, CPA, or U.S. Customs broker license.
Experience in professional services, demonstrating the ability to understand client needs and identify opportunities for business growth.
