The Exchange is seeking a skilled Customer Service/ Inside Sales Professional to join our team. The duties and responsibilities vary greatly each day of the week. This position would be a perfect fit for someone who is a quick learner, adaptable and curious.
Responsibilities
Be the first point of contact for walk-in customers and incoming calls.
Customer service duties (answering phones, responding to emails, booking ads, resolving customer issues, and taking payments).
Solicit & service classified picture & line accounts by telephone, email, text etc.
Sell advertising into all 4 editions of The Exchange.
Create advertising plans for seasonal customers.
Track weekly sales and continue to maintain and increase revenues.
Prepare professional proposals & sales campaigns promptly.
Generate leads from new sources, & contact for advertising.
Experience/Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
College degree in business or related field preferred.
Adaptability to an ever changing environment & be able to multi-task.
Understanding of sales process and dynamics.
Hourly pay plus commission. Medical available after 3 months full time. Simple IRA plan after 1 year.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000 - $65,000 per year
