itD is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to deepen client partnerships and enhance consultant engagement within the technology and social media sector. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in client relationship management, talent delivery, and account growth, with a demonstrated ability to build trust, drive influence, and deliver measurable results across complex engagements.
This long‑term W2 opportunity is fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in Austin, TX. The role includes flexibility for remote work while also requiring occasional onsite presence for client meetings and consultant events.

Salary ranges from $75,000 to $125,000 depending on experience and location, plus commission, and includes full benefits such as medical, 401k, paid holidays, and more.
Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for consultants and client partners.
Build trust through responsiveness, consistency, and clarity.
Support consultant performance, satisfaction, and retention throughout the engagement.
Surface risks early and handle complex situations with professionalism.
Represent itD as a partner who understands the nuances of each relationship.
Lead consultants through the full engagement lifecycle, from onboarding to closeout.
Coordinate internal and client‑specific steps to ensure a smooth and supported experience.
Ensure expectations are clear, blockers are addressed, and consultants feel supported and seen.
Participate in interviews for key roles tied to your assigned clients.
Provide insight into client culture, expectations, and program structure during candidate evaluations.
Align closely with your Business Developer and recruiting partners to ensure candidate quality and fit.
Help calibrate hiring needs, support offer prep, and ensure strong handoffs into onboarding.
Keep systems and records up to date across consultants, clients, and projects.
Own CRM data hygiene across consultant records, client contacts, deal entries, and related documentation.
Document growth opportunities and key touchpoints in CRM to support visibility and follow‑through.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, HR, and other internal teams to resolve issues and meet account needs.
Support quoting activities and SOW renewals in coordination with your BD and cross‑functional teams.
Partner with your assigned Business Developer to protect and grow assigned client relationships.
Develop strategic relationships with client stakeholders and help shape direction of the account.
Monitor account delivery, identify service gaps, and make recommendations to strengthen execution.
Contribute to account expansion through consistency, clarity, and trusted partnership.
Coordinate appreciation efforts and light event planning as needed to support engagement.
Required Qualifications and Skills
5+ years in account management, client success, or consulting delivery roles.
Experience managing strategic accounts and growing business relationships.
Strong communication, relationship‑building, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and follow‑through.
High comfort level operating in fast‑paced and occasionally ambiguous environments.
Skilled at earning trust and influencing through empathy, negotiation, and clarity.
Experience preparing or supporting SOWs and quoting conversations.
Proficient in CRM usage to log activity, track deals, and maintain accurate records.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
For Bay Area (beauty/retail): Experience supporting consumer product, lifestyle, or retail brands.
For Bay Area (enterprise tech): Experience in hardware or technical client environments.
For Austin (social media): Background supporting fast‑growth tech or platform‑oriented clients.
Experience with consultant populations, client‑facing service models, or delivery oversight.
Comfortable coordinating regional meetings, appreciation efforts, or client‑facing events.
Familiarity with consulting practice areas such as PMO, Change Management, BI, or DevOps.
Education
BA/BS degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Communications, or Organizational Leadership.
