Summary:
In this essential role, you will manage title processing and assist clients with their tag and title needs. Only candidates with prior automotive title clerk experience will be considered. This position also involves basic office tasks such as answering phones, filing, and scanning documents. Key Responsibilities: Process Wholesale title work. Handle Dealer Trade Title Work. Manage Retail Title Work. Process out of state and export titles. Facilitate Tag Transfers. Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you must effectively perform each crucial duty. Below are the necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities: Experience as an Automotive Dealership Title Clerk. Basic understanding of automotive accounting (e.g., refunds, write-offs, funding, and F&I Notes). Familiarity with DMV Software such as CVR, DLRdmv, Reynolds & Reynolds, or TitleTec. Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings. Math Ability: Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Address problems with several concrete variables in standardized situations. Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant education or experience is preferred. Certificates and Licenses: Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Equipment: Scanner PC Printer Multi-line phone system Copier/Fax Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities: Strong customer service orientation. Ability to multitask effectively. Basic computer skills. Professional demeanor. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Team player. Physical Demands: This role involves regular physical activities such as standing, using hands, reaching, and communication. The employee may also need to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch occasionally, and may need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
