Repair Representative The Repair Representative plays a key role in the supply chain of Chromalloy Material Solutions by effectively managing the process of aircraft engine piece part component repair.

Key Responsibilities

Generate repair orders within one business day of receiving a repair request

Maintain at least weekly interaction with repair vendors to maintain constant status on repair quotes, shipping dates, and status of work in process

Establish excellent relationships with vendors to facilitate prioritization and cost management / reductions

Interact with internal departments such as product line, sales, programs, and demand planning to manage multiple priorities and provide status to internal customers

Work with finance and vendors to quickly identify and rectify invoicing errors

Maintain all relevant data in Quantum to show current and accurate status and cost of repair orders

Work with warehouse personnel to resolve in a timely manner any issues with shipping / receiving and discrepancies on repair orders

Generate and use reports and BI tools to track and manage open orders

Qualifications

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Must have 3+ years of experience in aviation, preferably in a vendor management role

Knowledge of aviation ERP systems, preferably Quantum

Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including email and Microsoft Office software, with experience in data entry

Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities

Effective and professional communication and organization skills

Ability to work independently as and as part of a team environment

Ability to understand and interpret repair catalogs

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with engine Instructions for Continued Airworthiness such as: shop manuals, IPCs, SBs and Ads

Prior engine shop or component repair experience

Bachelor's degree and/or A&P license

Prior experience with Quantum
