Position Summary:

As a Senior Commercial Credit Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting lenders with the underwriting of credit extensions for new and existing commercial clients. Your expertise in conducting detailed financial analyses will be essential in preparing credit approval and modification requests for presentation to the Loan Committee. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with the Bank's credit policies and maintain timely collection and analysis of interim and annual financial statements provided by clients. Primary Responsibilities: Perform in-depth analysis of financial statements and agency reports on both prospective and active borrowing accounts, producing comprehensive written evaluations of their short and long-term financial prospects. Make informed recommendations to Loan Officers regarding the approval or denial of loans, accompanied by detailed documentation to support these recommendations. Identify, interpret, and analyze trends in financial data, interpreting key financial ratios such as cash flow to debt service and debt-to-equity. Document all financial analyses thoroughly using spreadsheets and crafted credit offering memorandums. Recommend loan grades based on extensive credit analysis and thorough documentation review. Coordinate specific tasks within the department to facilitate the efficient flow of information. Generate and provide assigned reporting on loan relationships. Conduct annual reviews of loan relationships to ensure ongoing compliance and financial health. Bring at least 5 years of experience in a banking environment as a Credit Analyst to this position.
