Key Responsibilities: Service a station of 6 tables effectively Accurately account for and balance all sales and receipts Communicate clearly with the kitchen and use the computer register system Present and promote current offers to guests Maintain accurate guest check records Handle payments and notify guests of any automatic gratuity Manage multiple tasks calmly and efficiently Engage with guests courteously and with patience Perform various duties to ensure adherence to service procedures Requirements: Qualification Standards: Minimum 2 years full-service restaurant experience or equivalent Familiarity with menu items, specials, wine list, liquor list, and drinks Understanding of accounting procedures Knowledge of restaurant layout, including table and station numbers Awareness of restaurant rules and philosophies Must be willing and able to: Punctually meet personal scheduling requirements Be courteous and good-natured Respond patiently to difficult guests Accept constructive criticism Collaborate effectively with co-workers Present a clean and professional appearance Stand and walk for an entire shift Safely transport food over various surfaces Deliver food to a party of 4 in a single trip Work during nights, weekends, and holidays Maggiano's Little Italy® is more than just a restaurant; it's a family.
