
We’re looking for a talented
Materials Designer (ETW)
to support footwear projects, working hands-on from concept through execution. You’ll help shape material strategies, palettes, and storytelling for performance-driven products.
Key Responsibilities
Lead materials design and palette development for running footwear
Translate creative direction and storytelling into material solutions
Partner with footwear designers, developers, and category teams
Apply consumer and cultural insights to product narratives
Support seasonal creative direction across multiple timelines
Present concepts using strong visual and verbal communication
Balance creative exploration with performance and manufacturability
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Art, or related field
3–5 years of experience in materials, textiles, color, or product design
Experience in lifestyle or performance product categories
Strong understanding of holistic product creation processes
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Strong CAD and digital design skills
Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Proactive and adaptable in fast-paced environments
Non-Negotiable Skills (Top 3)
Proven materials design experience in lifestyle or performance products
Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
Strong design vision with sensitivity to fashion, trends, and brand identity
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of performance footwear material innovation
