
Manager, Sales - SMB Account Executives

Overview
As a Sales Manager of SMB at Shopmonkey, you will be responsible for ensuring continued success and growth across our Account Executives team, including both internal promotions and external hires. You will focus on adding and retaining a high volume of new customers and work with senior leadership to establish priorities, align on OKRs, achieve hiring plans, and meet aggressive monthly revenue quotas. You will collaborate with enablement, operations, customer success, and marketing to innovate strategy and grow our new customer base.
Note for San Francisco Bay area-based applicants: this is a hybrid role with 2 days/week in the office at our Larkspur, CA location.
Responsibilities
Define goals and strategy to drive recurring revenue from new customers.
Build a highly efficient and productive sales team.
Recruit, onboard and develop high performing and committed sales reps while ensuring a progressive career path for the future.
Continuously assess, clarify, and validate strategy and process.
Track, measure and report on sales effectiveness and adjust programs and strategies as necessary.
Collaborate with Marketing for demand generation, inbound and outbound XDR teams, and other teams to drive high conversion rates and efficient customer acquisition.
Work cross-functionally internally to ensure messaging alignment and operational coordination.
Create a predictable sales model that enables accurate forecasting on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the auto services industry, including industry trends, workflows, business processes, and key competitors.
Qualifications
2+ years of sales management experience with SaaS, particularly in high-velocity SMB sales.
3+ years of experience in sales in the SaaS industry with extensive experience in Salesforce, Gong, Salesloft and Google Suite.
Ability to get buy-in from your team on org goals.
Demonstrated collaboration, persuasion, and mentorship/coaching skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attitude, self-motivation, and a team-first mindset.
Proficiency with various solution-selling methodologies and best practices.
Strong leadership, coaching, creativity, closing, and analytical skills.
Compensation and Benefits This position is compensated with an expected OTE of $180,000 - $200,000 per year. It is eligible for equity and standard company benefits. The base compensation range is a reasonable estimate and will be determined based on location, experience, training, skills, and abilities. Consult with your Recruiter during the initial call to determine a more targeted range.
