Overview
Contact Government Services (CGS) is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Director of eDiscovery for one of our large government projects. This role leads an electronic discovery team within the Government and supports professionals in all aspects of litigation support and e-discovery processes, including project management, ESI intake, data analysis, early case assessment, document production, and liaising with third-party vendors.
Base pay range $161,279.04/yr - $232,958.61/yr
Role Senior Director Of eDiscovery
Employment details Employment Type: Full Time, Executive Level Department: eDiscovery and Litigation
Responsibilities
Lead an electronic discovery team and support Government professionals in all aspects of litigation support and e-discovery processes, including project management, ESI intake, data analysis, early case assessment, document production, and liaising with third-party vendors
Perform administrative functions related to litigation support software and eDiscovery databases, including creation and maintenance, importing data, searching and exporting, document scanning, OCR, coding, and document productions
Process and publish electronically stored information for cases and assist in preparing documents and exhibits for trial
Receive and log incoming media, maintain chain of custody and tracking documentation for media and data
Contribute to internal process development by preparing workflows and related documentation
Work overtime hours, including nights and/or weekends, on a per-project basis
Collaborate with General Counsel, Attornies, Law Clerks, and Legal Assistants as part of the matter team
Assist with troubleshooting of technical issues within the eDiscovery platform
Maintain knowledge of discovery industry best practices and new regulations through training and certification
Meet with and build relationships with eDiscovery vendors and maintain relationships with current vendors
Demonstrate self-motivation and a desire to shape the future of the department
Ability to learn new eDiscovery review platforms quickly
Qualifications
Understanding of the litigation lifecycle and electronic discovery/document review processes, procedures and practices
7+ years of experience in a litigation support, electronic discovery and/or technology support environment; government experience preferred but law firm or top eDiscovery vendor experience is acceptable
Experience performing Administrator and Case Manager functions in Relativity
Experience providing end-user support on all Litigation Support applications, including end-user training
Experience with Relativity, Nuix, Concordance, IPRO and other applicable eDiscovery software platforms
Must be a US Citizen
Must be able to obtain a favorable adjudicated Public Trust Clearance
Preferred
Relativity Certified Administrator Certification
