Overview Cardio Diagnostics is seeking an ambitious and driven individual to take on the Business Development Associate (Employers) role. In this capacity, the successful candidate will join the Employer Sales team to expand access to Cardio’s solutions among employers. As a critical member of our integrated Revenue team, the Business Development Associate (Employers) will contribute to achieving revenue targets.

Responsibilities

Use a combination of high-volume cold calls, cold emails, LinkedIn messaging and other cold and warm outbound methods to generate leads

Assist in market penetration initiatives by conducting market research and competitive analysis and supporting the implementation of sales methodologies

Conduct discovery calls and prepare sales decks

Present and deliver information to potential clients

Track and report relevant sales performance indicators, providing insights on pipeline progression, accounts and revenue growth

Attend industry events and networking forums to increase brand recognition and generate leads

Develop outreach campaigns to generate new leads and assist with accelerating existing accounts

Meet or exceed sales target and increase the pace of active employers

Qualifications

HS or GED required, BS/BA degree in business, marketing, or healthcare major preferred

1-2 years sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or lab sales and/or ideally selling into HR & Benefits leaders within self-insured employers, benefits brokers, health systems, life insurance and health plan companies is preferred

Superior verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to details with a commitment to accuracy and quality

Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information into an “elevator pitch” to get someone’s attention and persuade them to take action

Experience with sales and prospecting tools, such as Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Apollo

Travel will be required for client onsites, conferences etc.

Experience with lead generation, demand generation, prospecting, sales, market development in the employer sector preferred

You are comfortable communicating on the phone, email, via a social media platform, or at a conference

You can effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentYou are a self-starter who thrives in independent settings while also excelling in cross-functional collaboration to drive shared goals

Pay Range: $75,000-$85,000

Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.

Potential for uncapped commissions.
