Responsibilities
Business planning, P&L management, business initiative execution:
Assists in the development and execution of annual operating plan (AOP) financial targets. Helps to establish business objectives, strategies, and tactics to attain AOP. Achieves volume, net revenue, and gross margin. Works with Retail FP&A for monitoring and updating P&L forecasts. Reviews raw material market trends and adjusts pricing accordingly.
Product Management:
Works closely with operations of product lines to determine production capacity availability to develop products under customer label that fit within the brand and customer strategies.
Strategy Development:
Participate in the development of products for the Retail division, working with marketing leadership on prioritization of commodity and utilization of company resources.
Supply Chain Partnership:
Supports operations, logistics, forecasting, and purchasing departments to management of finished goods and supply inventories. Leads and manages indirect cross-functional team members to accomplish projects that support brand initiatives and business needs.
Execution:
Manages the day-to-day execution of the business including but not limited to, item setup, packaging projects, new item development, project management, etc.
Cost and Margin Leadership:
Supports operations, logistics, forecasting, and purchasing departments to management of finished goods and supply inventories. Leads and manages indirect cross-functional team members to accomplish projects that support brand initiatives and business needs. Leads the S&OE process for the portfolio.
Qualifications Required
1+ year of marketing, marketing related, or sales experience.
Pattern of initiative.
Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment on a variety of complex projects.
Strong analytical and time management skills.
Highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated creative thinking skills.
Demonstrated aptitude and effectiveness in budget and financial management.

Preferred
2+ years of marketing, marketing related, or CPS or FS sales experience.

Compensation At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for the Associate Brand Manager role is between
$90,975 - $127,350 per year , and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
