This is a non-exempt position responsible for organizing and coordinating the daily preparation and packaging of incoming and outgoing loads. Responsibilities

On a daily basis, processes shipping order by destination due date, transport mode and freight terms. Communicates with customers well enough to obtain written shipping instructions. Organizes shipping instruction and prepare pick ticket. For load preparation, takes into consideration transit time to deliver by due date. Makes sure no variance between what is ordered and what is prepared. Communicates with warehouse staff to coordinate preparation of shipments. Prepares accurate shipping documents and shipping marks for all outbound loads each shipment. Coordinates all aspects of export shipments including AES filing, inland transportation, bookings preparing related documents and daily cargo tracking. Provides updates with customers and/or carriers to arrange transportation via e-mail and/or telephone. Depending on commodity, specialist needs to learn inland transportation for dangerous goods. Reports to Operations or Branch Manager or Warehouse Supervisor immediately regarding problems or accidents. Administrative Support

Issues invoices to customers after services are rendered; Sends Information to Operations Manager and/or Accounting Division in Erlanger. Processes vendor bills upon receipt following internal procedure and sends directly to Operations Manager and/or Accounting Division in Erlanger. Closes out files and makes revenue/cost (P&L) sheet for each shipment as soon as possible. Closes all files for month by 9th of the next month or by the date which Operations Manager instructs to close. Assists manager with incoming and outgoing mail services, office supplies, maintaining office in orderly manner. Assists with answering phones and refers them to proper staff member or takes messages; May coordinate-information and assistance for both departmental staff and customers as needed. Good communication with customer. Completely follow Stop, Call, Wait if any issue is found. Accurate and timely processing for export documentation. Quick response to customer and supplier. Meet cut-off with 100% for air and boat shipment. Does not delay billing to customer. Seeks Constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work process. Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management. Follows up to complete any assigned work. Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace. Reports all irregular issues and problems to supervisor for solution. Maintains good communication with supervisors, staff members and outside contacts. Education & Work Experience

High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience. One to Three years of similar work experience. Tools & Equipment

General office equipment including phones, fax, copier, personal computer, etc. Software includes the use of Windows operating system and MS Office applications. Certificates / Licenses
