
Overview
Zappos Digital Marketing is looking for a Digital Marketing Planner to drive strategic marketing performance through data-informed decisions. This role will own the development and maintenance of forecasting models, performance tracking systems, and analytical frameworks that inform marketing investment decisions. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with cross-functional partnership skills to optimize marketing performance across channels.
Responsibilities
Own marketing performance forecasts (weekly/monthly) and budget tracking processes, including accruals accuracy
Create and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks to track cross-channel KPIs and performance
Drive process improvements for reporting systems and implement controls to address gaps
Lead the execution of media measurement frameworks and MMM implementation
Analyze performance variance and develop action plans to optimize marketing spend
Partner with agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on forecasts and reporting
Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights on marketing trends and campaign effectiveness
Qualifications
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Knowledge of SQL
Experience working cross functionally across several teams
Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
4 years of analytical experience, preferably in Finance, Planning, or Digital Marketing
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in professional non-internship marketing
Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices
Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
