About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Director of Women's Services to provide temporary leadership and oversight of the department. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing the day-to-day operations of the women's services department, which includes Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Special Care Nursery units. This role involves leading a large team of approximately 85 FTEs and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. The Interim Director will also be responsible for driving departmental initiatives related to patient experience, employee engagement, compliance, and quality assurance.
Applicants for the Interim Director position must have a Bachelor’s degree and an active RN license in the state of Maryland. The role requires a strong focus on mentorship, fostering a positive work environment, and emphasizing communication, collaboration, and engagement within the department. The ideal candidate will be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance and should be prepared to take on the challenges of the role with a proactive and dedicated approach.
