Territory Sales Manager

We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager based in the greater NYC metro area or surrounding region. This is a remote, home-based role focused on managing and growing relationships with several of our major distributors. Key Responsibilities: Drive sales growth by achieving volume and profit targets within the assigned territory. Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers through direct, one-on-one engagement. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through field promotion and account development. Present and demonstrate products, offering consultative support on optimal applications. Effectively communicate product features and benefits using persuasive sales techniques. Analyze historical and current sales data, trends, costs, and revenue to inform strategy and reporting. Provide insights and updates to management on account performance and market dynamics. Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. Support customer accounts with pricing, warranty claims, receivables, and service-related matters. Qualifications: Willingness and ability to travel extensively (60%+), including occasional overnight trips. Strong initiative, problem-solving ability, and negotiation skills. Excellent communication skillswritten, verbal, and presentation. Self-motivated and capable of working independently. Valid driver's license required. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, Sales/Marketing, or a related field preferred. 23+ years of prior sales experience required. Industry-specific experience is a plus. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,000 - $125,000 + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. At Novolex, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
