
Territory Sales Manager - NYC Metro
Our client, in consumer food goods industry is seeking a Territory Sales Manager - NYC Metro to join their team. The candidate will need fluency in either Mandarin or Cantonese and 2 years of sales experience, which will align successfully in the organization. Location: NYC Metro (mostly Chinatown)/HYBRID Pay Range: $25 - $35 hourly (W2) Contract: 1 Year (extension possible) What's the Job? Drive sustainable sales growth within NYC Metro (Chinatown) territory by engaging operators, local chains, and trade partners through both in-person visits and digital touchpoints in Asian restaurant and food service distributors. Execute customer business plans, deliver sales targets, and generate demand through solution selling, menu recommendations, demos, sampling, and multi-channel engagement. Build and manage Joint Business Plans with distributors, ensuring trade alignment, sell-out activities, stock availability, and timely processing of trade claims. Leverage CRM for warm and targeted lead conversion, enrich operator data, and drive digital buying behavior via eCommerce platforms and social channels. Serve as the frontline representative of company, providing innovative foodservice solutions while delivering a seamless, data-driven customer experience. What's Needed? Bachelor's Degree -or- 2 year Culinary Degree Required: Fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese Required: 2+ years of sales experience; (experience in foodservice sales is a plus) Proven track record of developing strategic relationships with decision makers for both operator and distributor customers; Negotiation skills and strong business acumen; Passion for driving results with a strong interest in the food industry Ability to learn our systems (Blacksmith/Forge, Salesforce.com, Power BI) What's in it for me?
