Production Graphic Designer
Proman Staffing is seeking a Production Graphic Designer with pre-press knowledge and experience. The Production Graphic Designer will assist the Graphics Department in preparing files and materials needed for print production, including both digital and flexographic printing. Knowledge of Outlook, Google Sheets and Adobe Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop. Knowledge of Esko plug-ins and digital printing is preferred but not mandatory. The ideal candidate will know how to manipulate customer supplied files for production using these programs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, as you will be working directly with the customers and other departments. In order to meet production needs and deadlines the ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, pays attention to detail and is self-motivated. Qualifications: Associates in Graphics Design or equivalent work experience. A team player willing to provide accurate and efficient customer service. Self-motivated with the ability to set and achieve goals and deadlines. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Knowledge of pre-press graphics, including bleed, trapping, stepping and distorting is preferred but we are willing to train the right person. The ability to read a ruler is a must. Knowledge of both Windows and Mac operating systems.
