POSITION SUMMARY
:
This position will be responsible for creating and editing a variety of content in support of university marketing efforts, including print and digital collateral. The position will work collaboratively with the marketing team to enhance the university's visual identity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
:
Create and execute internal and external print pieces, advertising, admissions pieces, alumni communications, university magazines, and event promotional pieces. Support and contribute to the comprehensive marketing plan and design standards for the university. Serve as a marketing department representative to other university departments in the development of marketing collateral. Complete timely updates to the university website, ranging from simple edits to development of new pages within Web-based CMS, along with Web-based emails; maintain content for relevance. Perform marketing communications functions (photography, videography, social media) as needed at major university events. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Perform additional duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS
:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, journalism, or marketing preferred. One (1) year of related professional experience. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with digital content management systems preferred. Familiarity with HTML/CSS preferred. Understanding of Google Web analytics preferred. Affinity with the overall mission of the University of Saint Mary. Effective interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a professional manner. Proven success with prioritizing projects and meeting deadlines.
