Roles & Responsibilities Provide skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction of the supervising PT Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility tasks Implement and document treatment plans, tracking patient progress and outcomes Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care Maintain a safe environment by properly using and maintaining equipment and following protocols Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Virginia or ability to obtain state licensure Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to start Completion of an accredited PTA program Previous experience in inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with patients and staff Education Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program or equivalent Knowledge & Skills Skilled in therapeutic exercise techniques and modalities commonly used in rehab Knowledge of safe patient handling, transfers, and gait training Familiarity with documenting treatment plans and progress in electronic health records Ability to adapt care to meet individual patient goals and needs Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset Benefits Generous housing stipend available for eligible clinicians Medical, Dental & Vision coverage to keep you healthy 401K retirement savings plan to help you plan ahead Life Insurance for peace of mind Paid Time Off to recharge and avoid burnout Licensure assistance and reimbursement to support your career Referral bonus program for recommending great teammates A supportive team that values your skills and growth Apply Now Ready to start your next adventure as a Physical Therapist Assistant?
