Senior Paralegal – Housing and Regeneration (Litigation) Team

Hours:
Full-time, 36.25 hours per week
The Role Forbes Solicitors are seeking a Senior Paralegal to join our Housing and Regeneration (Litigation) team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Paralegal that can bring their experience, skills and knowledge to progress their career and become part of a collaborative and professional team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide effective legal services by advising clients, identifying required actions, progressing files, and managing a caseload that meets client expectations.
Successfully handle multiple client cases by maximising chargeable time, meeting deadlines, achieving positive outcomes, and maintaining accurate systems, documents, data and file notes.
Draft and complete essential legal documents and conduct accurate legal research on complex matters.
Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders.
Understand financial performance measures and contribute to achieving optimal departmental performance and business plan objectives.
Support large, complex legal matters by collaborating with Senior Associates and Partners on case strategy, while also helping peers across the department develop their skills and knowledge.
About You We are looking for people that can demonstrate the following:
Essential
Law Degree or other legal level 6 qualifications such as CILEX.
Demonstrable experience as a Paralegal within property law, with experience of managing their own caseload.
Experience using legal case management systems.
Demonstrates excellent academic ability and research skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
Aligns with the Firm’s values and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Desirable
Experience dealing with Social Housing matters.
Demonstrates good knowledge of Social Housing Law and understanding of litigation processes.
