DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a Principal, Business Strategy with strong interpersonal skills, business acumen, and big picture thinking to help lead communications for Amazon Haul. Launched in November 2024, Amazon Haul is an innovative shopping experience within the Amazon Shopping app, offering fashion, home, lifestyle, and electronics products at ultra-low prices. This discovery-driven customer experience connects shoppers directly with manufacturer-sourced products delivered through Amazon's fulfillment network. This role is uniquely positioned at the center of our growing business working cross-functionally with business, product, and engineering to chart the direction for our growing store. This person will be an exceptional author with the ability to distill complexity and strategic vision for a c-suite audience (annual planning, monthly business reviews, etc.), highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, and effective at creating mechanisms to ensure the team is making meaningful progress on our most pressing issues.

Key job responsibilities Additional Key Responsibilities: •Drive operational mechanisms and goal tracking across the Haul organization •Lead special projects in Haul requiring dedicated ownership on an ad-hoc basis •Foster international relationships across global business units (EU/APAC/Middle East) •Support Haul leadership communication initiatives Required qualifications: •Exceptional writing abilities with demonstrated experience creating executive-level documents •Deep knowledge of Amazon operational processes (OP1, QBR, PRFAQs, Goal Management) •Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives •Experience influencing at all organizational levels •Proven track record of operating effectively in complex, global environments

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience - 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience - Bachelor's degree - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with end to end product delivery - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience as a product manager or owner PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience owning technology products

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
